  • With more than 30 years of experience in trials and appeals, Diane Perin Hock is Of Counsel to The Stein Law Firm, PLLC.

    Her practice focuses on:

    Diane has argued cases before the New Hampshire Supreme Court and the First Circuit Court of Appeals. She enjoys the problem-solving aspect of law, especially crafting a legal argument and presenting it in a clear and concise manner. Diane collaborates on cases with the firm’s attorneys and provides legal research and writing services in a wide range of litigation areas such as:

    Before joining Bob Stein’s practice in 1994, Diane practiced law with another Concord, New Hampshire law firm from 1985-1994. Diane also taught legal writing and pretrial advocacy at the Franklin Pierce Law Center (now UNH School of Law).

    Personal Information

    Diane received her B.S. from the University of California, Irvine in Social Ecology, and her J.D. from Cornell Law School.

    Diane is dedicated to improving public schools and to providing excellence in education to all students.  Diane has been actively involved in her community school board and PTO. She is also involved with homeschooling and autism awareness.

    She is an avid quilt artist and has had her artwork exhibited in shows and galleries throughout the world. Diane’s quilt prowess is recognized in Twelve by Twelve, The International Art Quilt Challenge. The book arose out of a group Diane formed with eleven other artists from the U.S., Europe, and Australia, and followed their progress as they created small quilts on different themes over a period of several years.

    Diane resides in Healdsburg, California, with her daughter, a rambunctious black Lab, and an inscrutable white cat.  Through the wonders of the internet, Diane supports the lawyers at The Stein Law Firm.
